Diwali: The Festival of Lights

- Celebrate and learn about the exciting Hindu festival of lights with a night of traditional Indian drumming and dancing. Dr. Geetanjali Tiwari, South Asian Studies Coordinator and Hindi lecturer at KU, will provide a brief introduction about the festival before the performance begins. This event is sponsored by the KU Center for Global & International Studies and the South Asian Studies program. All events are free and take place in Regnier Hall auditorium at KU Edwards Campus, 12600 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, Kan. unless otherwise noted.
