- What:
- Kids interested in wrestling but not in competing in tournaments will get the opportunity to learn more about the sport by enrolling in this program. Participants will learn basic wrestling holds and terminology. The Burlington High School wrestling team, under the direction of Coach Doug VanderLinden, will run practices. Practices will be held on Mondays for three weeks, followed by a local tournament on the fourth Monday. Each participant will get a Burlington wrestling t-shirt and will also earn a medal for being involved in the local tournament. Kids interested in wrestling but not in competing in tournaments will get the opportunity to learn more about the sport by enrolling in this program.
