Art Fest at Ernie Miller Nature Center

- Art Fest is the Johnson County Park & Recreation District’s annual tribute to the widely diverse talents of the many artists residing in Johnson County. Each year it features a variety of media including paintings, stoneware, photography, jewelry and mixed media. All of the pieces on display are available for purchase and a portion of each sale benefits the nature center. There is no admission charge to the exhibit which will be open for public viewing during the nature center’s regular hours: 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. The exhibition will be closed in honor of Veterans Day, on Monday, November 12. The exhibit is sponsored in part by Johnston, Ballweg & Modrcin, LC.
