- Do you like old houses? Would you like to snoop around and steal holiday decor ideas from creative people's homes? Then this event was made for you! And this year, Santa is showing up along with carolers and street performers too. We're even adding food trucks and a Pop Up Gallery & Bazaar to the mix. To be sure, nobody is going to leave the neighborhood disappointed or hungry. So plan on spending December 1st in Kansas City's first suburb and oldest standing neighborhood. Tour five grand houses decked out for the holidays, shop the art market for holiday gifts (11am-6pm), eat some good food and go home happy in the knowledge that you've just uncovered one of KC's best kept secrets: Pendleton Heights Historic District, right here in your own back yard.
