Film Screening: Rise and Dream

- Join UMKC alumni Barclay Martin and Rick Willoughby in the iX Theatre (1st floor) for a screening of the CFCA documentary film Rise and Dream, featuring Martin’s music and the story of 13 teenagers living in the Philippines. The teens accept a challenge to learn their own cultural instruments to perform on the biggest stage of their lives. The screening will be preceded by live music and followed by a question and answer session. Co-sponsored by the Department of Communication Studies, UMKC Libraries, the College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Association, and CFCA.
