Well, now meet Florence and Olive, their female counterparts. Neil Simon wrote this new, feminine take on his classic comedy of mismatched roommates. The female version of The Odd Couple explores the emotions and motivations more deeply than the original, and the resulting moments of candid humor are both hilarious and thought-provoking. The play maintains the essence of the original "Odd Couple." The severely slovenly Olive Madison, a divorced television station executive, invites the obsessive-compulsive neatnik Florence Unger into her home when Flo is deserted by her spouse. we follow Olive and Florence through relationship debacles, Trivial Pursuit, and a hilarious date with the Costazuela brothers.
