- There will be a silent auction, bake sale and raffle. The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. We advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace, and security. Here is a list of a few of the businesses that have donated items for prizes: KC Chiefs, KC Royal, KC T-Bones, KU, K-State, Eskew’s Fine Jewelers, Planet Beach Spa, Jimmy John’s, Houlihan’s, Habenero’s, Waldo Pizza, Bob Sight Ford. Come join us! Get some Christmas gifts and help our heroes at the same time.
