Free Medicare enrollment event

- Medicare's annual open enrollment period for prescription-drug (Part D) and Medicare Advantage plans is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. At this free event, counselors with Missouri CLAIM, a nonprofit government-funded service for Missourians on Medicare, will offer their expert services. The open-enrollment period is the best time for people on Medicare to compare cost and coverage of plans to best fit beneficiaries' budgets and health needs. Call 1-800-390-3330 for reservations.
