home Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour

What:
Four of the finest area homes, decked out for the holidays by local floral designers, will open their doors Dec. 4 and 5 for the 61st annual Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour. The public is invited to tour the homes and to visit a Gift and Gourmet Shop at Homestead Country Club, which will feature party foods, baked goods, jewelry, cookbooks, and gift items to fill shoppers’ holiday lists. Tour hours are 4 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5. Homes include the home of Nell Donnelly Reed, known as "Nelly Don", the developer of a garment business in Kansas City. Tickets are $20 in advance after Nov. 1 at Hen House markets, Trapp and Company, Bergamot & Ivy, The Fiddly Fig, Craig Sole Designs, and other outlets, and from area Kappas or online at www.kappahomestour.com. Or, they are $25 on the day of the tour at one of the homes or at the Homestead gift shop at 6510 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS. No charge to visit the Gift and Gourmet Shop. The Children’s Place, CASA of Jackson County, Sheffield Place, and the Kappa Foundation benefit from this year’s tour, sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
