SIDONIA'S THREAD

- The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education presents award-winning author Hanna Perlstein Marcus, who will discuss her memoir about life growing up with her Holocaust-survivor mother, a single parent and master seamstress. Randomly assigned to Springfield, Massachusetts, from the Bergen-Belsen displaced persons camp, they forged a life bound by their roles as designer and model while keeping their inner secrets from each other. The program will be followed by book signing and light dessert reception.
