home Emotional Intelligence: Cultivating Work Relationships

Most of us are familiar with IQ, which measures a person's cognitive capacity and functioning, like the abilities to concentrate and learn as well as to think things out, solve problems, & apply what we have learned. Emotional Quotient (EQ), on the other hand, is how well we understand ourselves & others, how well we relate to people, & our ability to adapt to new and different situations. It is our ability to understand & deal with our own emotions & those of others. This workshop will explore the factors of emotional intelligence by combining interactive classroom discussion with a personalized self-assessment called the BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQi). Workshop participants will have the opportunity to review their personal results & met one on one with a qualified EQi coach. This unique opportunity allows participants to identify strengths & areas for improvement to increase effectiveness in leadership roles & work relationships.
