Estate Planning Workshop
- What:
- According to Forbes, the five life events that signal it’s time for an estate plan include: 1. Getting Married 2. Divorce or Death of a Spouse 3. Purchasing or Refinancing a Home 4. New Accounts (savings accounts, brokerage accounts, and/or mutual fund accounts) 5. Children Changes (have a baby, adopt a child, and/or have a new stepchild) Each of these milestones requires estate planning documents to ensure your loved ones are protected. With that said, I wanted to personally invite you to a complimentary workshop to explore your estate planning options on Saturday, Dec 8 at 10:00 a.m. in my office. Please note the details below: Estate Planning Workshop Saturday, Dec 8 at 10:00 a.m. Gaughan Herman & Connealy 4400 College Blvd, Suite 190 Overland Park, KS 66211 Designed to be solely educational, the workshop will be a little over an hour and will cover the difference between a will and a trust, how you can ensure your children are protected if something happens to you, and the steps necessary to plan for your long-term care.
