- Join University of Kansas pelvic floor rehab specialists to learn about the pelvic floor muscles, their function and their relationship to the core musculature, breathing, bladder, bowel and sexual functions in a free program on Jan. 31. In “The Pelvic Floor: More Than Just Kegel Exercises,” you’ll learn what you can do to keep the pelvic floor muscles healthy and strong, especially after treatment for pelvic cancers. You’ll also get an overview of what area rehab specialists can do to help with other medical needs. The program will be from 11 a.m.-noon, Jan. 31, at The University of Kansas Clinical Research Center in the Fairway Office Park, 4350 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Fairway, Kan. Registration is required.
