- The Embrace the Manor Ball and Couples Celebration is a new benefit event being held at 5:30pm February 16, 2013, at one of Kansas City’s newest and most anticipated event spaces: The View at Briarcliff, located in the Briarcliff Courtyard by Marriott. Featuring breathtaking views of downtown, a silent auction, dinner, dancing and a celebration of outstanding couples in the community, this black-tie optional ball benefits Liberty-based Immacolata Manor, which serves adults with developmental disabilities. Join host Dick Wilson of the 94.9 KCMO morning show for a celebration of area couples who have shown enduring love and inspiring strength. Tickets are available on line at www.imanor.org. With every ticket purchased, a Manor resident will be sponsored to attend the Ball. Hors d'oeuvres provided. Cash bar.
