Blue Springs Beginner Group Guitar Lessons

- Blue Springs Parks & Recreation is offering beginner guitar lessons for students 10-15 years and for adults. Students should expect to be playing songs by the 5th or 6th week depending on personal practice in this beginner, 6-week course. Classes taught by Monty Deaver, with 30 years performing and teaching rhythm and lead guitar as well as electric bass, song-writing, and vocal styles. Classes held at Vesper Hall, 400 NW Vesper Street. The course cost is $50 and a $5 book fee is payable to the instructor. Call Blue Springs Parks & Recreation at (816) 228-0137 to register. Those ages 10-15 years attend class from 5:30 - 7 pm, while adults take class from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm.
