home SeedLove Reunites to honor Bob Marley's 68th!

What:
Kansas City's favorite hard-hitting reggae fusion band, SeedLove, returns and re-unites its original lineup for a blowout on Bob Marley's would-be 68th birthday! Since 2010 its members have been writing side projects, performing cross continent with big-name acts, and proliferating the Kansas City scene by organizing an all new cast of reggae loving groups. On Wednesday Feb. 6th, expect to hear songs from their 2008 full length release, Grow People (Dread-Not-Sounds, Independent, Itunes), as well as some compiled for a never released project before the groups 2010 split. And what would the evening be without some of your favorite tunes penned by Mr. Marley. They are joined in celebration by local 7-piece reggae/dub powerhouse, Arm The Poor, featuring a blazing hot 3 piece horn section and razor sharp guitar work from KC cross-genre vet, Pretty Ricky. As a bonus, Third Party, a 5 piece eclectic, groove-rock outfit from Joplin (think Incubus meets Vampire Weekend) will open the show supporting their debut EP set be released sometime this month.
