This inspiring documentary will change the way we look at the men and women of law enforcement and highlight the unselfish acts of bravery they commit each day in the line of duty. Its stories will be powerful, emotional, insightful, and educational. Produced in partnership with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Heroes Behind the Badge also highlights National Police Week events held in Washington, DC, including the annual May 13th Candlelight Vigil and the annual National Peace Officers Memorial Day service held at the U.S. Capitol on May 15. Bill Erfurth, a retired Lieutenant from the Miami-Dade Police Department and producer of the documentary, will be visiting for the screening and you can meet some of the brave men and women who serve the Kansas City area.Screening will start at 2:30 p.m.Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door.
