- Participants in this one-day workshop will be able to immediately use their new understanding of several of the most popular user experience research techniques today, including surveys, interviews, journals, focus groups, card sorting, tree testing, and field observation. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice several of these methods using real-world examples.Instructor:Danielle Cooley has over 13 years of experience in a multitude of user research and usability analysis methods utilized on a wide variety of applications, including hardware, Windows, web, telephone, and mobile. Her successful designs have been implemented at both large and small, public and private companies in many industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to car rental to financial services.Now working as an independent consultant, Danielle is a frequent speaker at local, national, and international conferences. She was the founding Vice President of the Boston chapter of the Usability Professionals Association and served on the committees for the 2007, 2008, 2012, 2013, and 2014 User Experience Professionals' Association Annual Conferences. She has a BE in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a MS in Human Factors in Information Design from the Elkin B.
