Topics covered by the course include boat types and marine motors, pre-underway activities and trailering, boat handling and navigation rules, legal requirements of boating, boating emergencies, operator responsibilities and best of all, water sports. “About Boating Safely,” the official textbook for this course will be available for optional purchase for $15.
