Rita Blitt Dances on Paper and Canvas

Art Show
Rita Blitt is an internationally renowned, award-winning painter, sculptor and filmmaker. In 1977, she wrote “I feel like I’m dancing on paper.”
Her works are included in many museums and private collections, including The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, John F. Kennedy Library, Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Skirball Cultural Center, Kennedy Museum of American Art and The Rita Blitt Gallery and Sculpture Garden at the Mulvane Art Museum in Topeka, Kansas. Her monumental sculpture can be found throughout Kansas City and around the world.
This exhibit offers a rare opportunity to acquire art created by Blitt. Proceeds will benefit The Lenexa Foundation supporting arts (Lenexa Community Orchestra), as well as healing musical programs that benefit AdventHealth patients.
Meet the artist at a special public reception on April 1 from 6–7:30 p.m.
